Grass Fed Amazon Beef

Help Support CattleToday:

Reading news sources on the subject, the Amazon as it was, played a big part in the globes environment. The article went into detail about how the forests did this and that. Explained the impact of deforestation on the climate. In short, not supposed to be good for all of us.

Be interesting to see G7 response to this. Some pushing for sanctions against Brazil until they get serious about zero destruction of remaining rainforest.

The Amazon has been burning since cave man days. Nothing new here

So has a lot of places, but in today's modern world, burning is bad for the environment.

Better tell that to the prairie's.

Now over 80,000 fires and counting. A bit odd when you look at the bigger picture - - US government pays farmers to plant trees on farm fields - - the Brazilians burn down existing forest to farm bigger. :?:

Gotta make jobs and keep everybody busy. Government here has paid producers to do both, at the same time, in the past.

Anybody else notice a large portion of the pictures of the "forest" burning are clear fields no trees, stumps etc. in sight. Secondly any of you ever been camping when it rained everyday and tried to keep a fire going with wet wood that got also got rained on everyday? Seems like a lot of work to grow beans and cattle that aren't worth anything and can't generate profit in today's market. Always some big environmental disaster the week of G7. If they were right last year and the oceans are rising in no time those fires will be drowned out.

People only look for leadership when there is a problem to solve the same way sheep only look for the shepherd when a wolf is prowling. Be wary of the wolves in shepherd's clothing. They are far more dangerous than one in sheep's clothing. They want everybody to follow but where are they taking us? Look where they have led us so far.

Aaron is on the right track they need us to believe we need them doing their job. Not usually this doom and gloom but have had time to watch the news lately. Can't believe the public as a whole buys this crap. Not just America either. We have a lot of problems that need solving but they sure try to distract us from them or show a very skewed version of the real problem.

Sorry for the rant
