My daughter in law sent me a couple pictures of my son and his 10 year old daughter with a dandy Columbian Blacktail buck. It is the girls first deer. It is a mature heavy horned 3 point (you easterners would call it an 8 pt). It would probably be in the top 5% of the blacktail bucks shot in Washington this year. Last weekend she let a 2 point get away because she couldn't find it in the scope. Good thing because this is a much better deer.
