I do and use the basic EZ guide unit from Trimble. I also use it for putting out fertilizer. I have not used other systems so I am not sure if it is better or worse but it is simple to use. My fields are all irregular in shape so they are very helpful. Only thing I would recommend is to stay away from the touch screen models. You will save some money on chemicals but the real value to me was not having missed streaks in the fields.
I used one about 5 years ago and got rid of it. It would take a couple of minutes to resync up anytime I mad a trun at the end of a run. Went to a simple foam marker and have liked it a whole lot better. It's particularly nice in some of the odd areas or when you have to go around trees.

I have used the Outback S-Lite for 2 years now. Easy to use and is very accurate. Would not be without it.
It knows where you are and where you have been so it makes it very easy to go around obstacles (trees, ponds, structures, etc.) and pick back up on your line. All of my fields are irregular shaped due to creeks and tree lines. GPS makes things much easier.
Chemicals are far too expensive to waste on guesswork.

I have a raven cruiser I use for crops. It would be pretty slick for pasture and fert. Just have not put it in tractor. Pretty simple once you get the hang of it. One nice thing is you can spray half a field go on a trip for a week and pick up whwere you left off,
Mine cost about $1200. About 3 or 4 years old. Littletom is right about picking up where you stop. I have to drive quite a distance sometimes to refill. The GPS directs you back to your original tire prints where you paused. They also tell you exactly how much you have sprayed. This helps making sure your calibration is correct. I also use mine when using a drill or a slinger to put out seed. It beats the hell out of looking for tire prints
