My buddy said I could have this Rhododendron our state flower if I could move it. "I'll be back in 20 minutes Chuck!" It's in full bloom now.

I had a huge one over on the coast. It wasn't far from the septic tank. I am sure it got some extra nutrients. Growing up the man across the street bred and raised them. My brother was shopping through some a couple of years ago and found one with the old neighbor's name attached. Brother is now 75. He worked for Mr Broxsen (sp) when he was about 12. Mr Broxsen was a WW1 vet so I am sure he is long since gone.
