Got strawberries ?

This rainy spell nothing much kids and I can do outside so we took advantage and made strawberry preserves.

We would have used strawberries out the yard if kids hadn't ate them up lol I used one box of pectin so it's not really firm because I like spreading it on my pancakes

I'm not much on sweets but it turned out pretty good and just seemed like the thing to do at the time. Made some little old ladies very happy.

Just got done eating a bowl of strawberries. They are good. Your jelly looks good.

In our area, the strawberries are the best and sweetest they have been in years. I guess I will need to be walking more fence line!

The jelly does look great. Lots of people have white froth in their strawberry jelly and that looks perfectly clear. Nice job.
