It's visible from 1/2 mile away when the trees don't have leaves.
Shoulda seen it when I primed it pepto bismol pink for a year. Neighbor called me in to building department for not pulling a permit. He had too look at that awful color as payment

That hay would stack a lot better if the bales were tighter! People around here would shake their head at you if they saw hay that lose in your possession, but would gladly take it and hide it for that price! Good deal on the hay!
What the heck he got all of his hay into the barn and that is in my opinion is what counts, so ever one lighten up.
I am new to round bales this year and am wondering about stacking myself. I think I want to move towards bale grazing eventually, and then towards grazing hopefully 300+ days. But in the meantime I have a pole barn that I could accumulate around 600 bales if the bottom two rows are on edge and then the next two on their sides.
My question is that I wouldn't get through that many bales per year. How long would those bales in the back of the barn keep? And how long before they lose too much shape that they fall over and take out the barn? It would be nice if the barn had three sides, or maybe even if I could get in from both ends.

I have a barn that holds 700 rolls . I feed about 200 rolls a year . Feed about 2and a half to 3 months a year depending on winter pasture . I've kept hay for 4 years in the barn that looks like it was bailed this year . As long as its dry and no sun gets to it it will keep along time . I stack the first row on end . Then pyramid the next to rows . You can get the same amount of hay on the bottom two rows that way .chukar":39b6vx0v said:
