Had sunshine yesterday for a change so with some time on my hands I thought that I'd mingle with the cows. Well I played with some calves and thought that I'd bounce the soon to be mothers...feeling fatherly and anticipating the start of calving.
Well it was late in the afternoon and rumens were not topped off so there was some space to bounce. Got some nice kick-backs from one of the cows, seven months bred due March 27th. Just one of thoes feelings that I thought that I'd share.
Wonder if the calf will be as active as it is now.
