Looks like Google maps FINALLY updated our area (sounds like they've been doing a major update)..



You can see Stella in the field (white one).. I think the pics are from the first week of October, I've shipped the calves (wish it was from a week earlier, would look like a lot more animals).. I had 50 here in August before I shipped a couple cows and the bull)

Looks great Nesi. Still no update for my area. There is a big north/south swath where my house is that is 1970's aerial photo so blurry you can't make out much.
Bing maps however has much better satellite imagery for my area.

probably because some "damn Texan" was run out of Texas and landed thereabouts, the reason anyplace with the word Texas in it's name is called that. :lol2:

Not on google maps was there a road view of our house until now. The picture was taken in 2018 and just now put on line.. Just surprising that they came down our crummy gravel road. I'm waiting for the live view of google earth....

I believe the privacy laws don’t allow that anymore but years ago when you looked for our house you could see me bending over in the garden haha. Now I’ve suddenly vanished from view.

Why do they call it Texas creek?

Not sure.. about 60 miles south there's ANOTHER Texas creek

When we kick people out it's to Oklahoma.

Most likely some settler a couple hundred years back didn't know his North from his South. And thought I've gone bout right the right distance, this must be Texas.... don't you know he shyt when winter came.

my Texas ancestors got kicked to the west, but I also have some from Oklahoma. hmmmm :lol2:

Google doesn't 'have' to have one of it's cars drive down your street or road to have your street view show up.
Registered Google users can and often do submit pictures of their own streets or even other street views they know aren't already available or think are interesting. Google calls them 'contributors'.
