Was able to meet up with Kenny Thomas and John 250 at the National Farm Machinery show. It was the highlight of the day, a couple of fine fellers. I really enjoyed it !

I told Kenny if we'd of met up 30 years ago it would have been a whole different ballgame. It's kinda nice to get so old you don't get in trouble anymore.

I didn't even take a check! The size and cost of that stuff is so far above me that all I can do is look and shake my head. A buudy of mine wanted electric row clutches to go on his eight row corn planter. 8 clutches and the GPS apparatus to make it work was $6000, he came back empty handed too.

I'm sure this is the "one" picture that was posed for to take home to the family....everybody is behaving, smiling and cleaned up right nice. :lol2:

John you and Kenny look like y'all been whooped away from the supper table. Larry your lookin kinda like me, we both need to back up from the table.
Just jokin fellows , glad y'all had a good time.

So Larry is the big one. But who is the ugly one? But wait, the good looking one is just as ugly as the ugly one. :lol2:

Larry drove two hours. The guy in the middle drove 5 hrs. The slacker on the left drove 45 minutes.
Enough clues?

I didn't get expressed written consent from Larry and Kenny, but they let a friend take the picture so I had their "implied consent" to post this.

It is the hardest day I spend in a year. 20 acres of concrete and very few places to sit. Late arrivals were parking near Nashville (TN). Biggest crowd I have seen at this show.

License plates in the parking lot from Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana and Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas. Oklahoma. Didn't see a TX, but I didn't see them all. Quite a few from Tennessee and GA.

I also got a picture of me with the newest JD 4wd tractor, but my photographer couldn't retreat far enough to get it all in the picture, so it is just me and a tire which probably costs more than my pickup truck.

I can't be the ugly one. My ugly is covered with a beard. Nice seeing the other two.
Had a great time. Going again tomorrow. Leaving at 5 in the morning and staying until Sunday. Taking the wife so I will have to be good. Guess it will be her Valentines gift. :help:

John, I believe you had better check the acreage. I think it was 200 instead of 20.

:lol2: Curtis you know how a camera catches a feller at a bad angle and makes him look a little on the heavy side :lol2: . I'm like John and Kenny, the longer I walked, the bigger that place looked, I didn't see a fourth of it. I don't know exactly how many years that show has been there, but I'm 53 and the first time I went there was with my mom and dad, I was too young to drive. At that time it was in only 2 wings of the building. They didn't have the exhaust system for the tractor pull, it would get so smoky you couldn't see the track.

Whoa! You mean to tell me they have a "friend?" How much are they paying? This might help the economy :D

Looks like you all had a good time and got on well...I can't see no ugly, Mr Ryder needs to wipe his glasses. ;-) it's nice when you can meet up with members and put faces to names, and makes things a bit more personal. Would liked to have been there. Thanks for sharing the pic.

Okay, so I'm reading this thread, get all confused about the photo (trying to remember who's who from the other photo thread) and then I see that this is all from February 2010 (except CKC's post from this morning)! Hellllllooooo!!!
