Needed to take some of the cows to the vet yesterday so we called them up into the barn, we got the bull into one of the sections by himself (feed bucket). Then we got the calves cut out from the mama's.I was closing the gate on that section and turned around to see the mama's loading themselves into the trailer! All we had to do was go close the gate on the trailer. Man those are good cows!

I don't know if it is because they are calm cows or if it is that we handle them that way or experience on their part although some of them are young. ??? Whatever it is I like it.

From the "A Team": "I love it when a plan comes together." My bull will this but my cows will ned alittle more coxing.

Hats off to you gateopener. You are to be commended for proper care of your stock and are reaping the results. Keep up the good work. Boone

Now we know why you call yourself the gate opener. All you do is open and close gates. :) :)

My Dad usta say he could handle more cows quicker with a feedbucket than anybody else with a horse and rope.

 Are your cattle herefords? Ours load themselves, just point to where they are to go and they
do it!

Sold a bull that had never been off the place last year. He unloaded at the sale barn, took a look around and climbed back in the trailer. Made me really sad to leave him there.

Hi Holly Heifer! We have commercial cows. We do have 2 registered Simms. Mom and baby. Don't care if a cow is registered or not. This one was priced at sale barn price-good cow.
