I am reading a book titled Yours To Command about the life and legend of Texas Ranger Captain Bill McDonald. It is written by Harold Weiss. I am a fan of history and I go through phases. Right now I am reading a lot on western law enforcement. This book is fantastic! It is pretty dense and does not read fast...but man it really gives you a taste of "the life" of a ranger back in the late 1800s. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in this time period...especially you Texas folks!
