Dr. Hank Lee and his assistant Leigh Ann of Lee Veterinary Clinic came to the farm yesterday, (November 3, 2009) to semen test the four bulls we have consigned to the upcoming BCIA sale on November 13th. I thought I would share the results just in case anyone is interested.

I took a look at your website and you have an impressive operation going. When I was in high school I worked for a Limousine producer here in my home town and been around a lot of Limousine cattle growing up. I will be at the sale facility in the morning and would love to meet you. I will be standing around our bulls we have lot 16,17,18 and 19 in the sale.

I think over all the sale was just OK. The buyers found the Great Bulls and good bulls sold for a lot less than they were worth. I don’t think there were as many buyers at the sale than years past. We were blessed to have the Top selling Angus bull for $3,100.00 Below is the information I pulled off the American Angus Association website.

Opps, I guess the Angus Association got the information wrong RD. I would have to agree the lot 7 was a really nice bull. If I am not mistaken he was a 3 year old.
