Large cattle herd for sale. Very gentle cows. 117 total head with calves and couple of gentle small birth weight bulls. Mostly black with several white faced and a few Charolais type cattle. 70 mature females with half of them being heifers or first calf heifers. This herd has been together for years. Serious inquiries only please.

Those look OK to the untrained I. Not a bad price either, actually pretty good by what I am seeing.

Notice the pictures were taken in the summer when the trees were green and the grass growing well. If they have not sold by now there is something wrong.

I'd still call and go take a look at them KT.

And y'all figure you can make money on them at that asking price? Half are first calf heifers and heifers, from a long established herd. How's that add up?

Nice cows. The big thing is I guess you guys roll with a lot deeper pockets than I do. Most people that have $160k laying around aren't buying cattle. You have to have cash because a bank won't finance cattle at least none I have ever found unless you leverage them ALOT. Also land is super tight in this area so finding somewhere to put 120 cows is not an easy task. All that being said if I had resources available I would be an interested buyer.

Sky, in all seriousness if you don't jump on that immediately I'm taking away your Hobby Farmers of America membership card!

Double T when I was at 100 head earlier this year it was kicking my azz not ready for all that again. I just bought more cattle and got those others I think I told you about. I am at capacity for my herd.

Kenny I got a feeling this sale was probably in the works and they wanted some nice fat slick pics to show or they were waiting for more to calve so they could ask more. They aren't but an hour away maybe I will go check them out and sell them to Double T for 300k

Smokin guy I sold most of my herd too has spent over 500k to get into raising cattle. He bought his farm new tractor new dually new trailer etc If you go to colonial farm credit they may be able to help you smokinM. They are about the only ones that will probably finance cattle. They financed some land for me nice good people.

If you can't afford them all I might come take a couple of the best pairs off your hands for about $1400 a piece. Just because I like you and all........
