Diesel is Washington’s hidden income tax. They don’t care about us as everything from a roll of toilet paper to a setting of eggs rides on diesel. The feds still get the their 25 cents a gallon no matter what.

Well I would if they renew my small oil and gas leases in the next couple of years (LOL). Except doritos aren't keto friendly, don't watch much TV and don't like the smell of burning weed -- but I have other vices.

They get their 25 cents a gallon. But when prices go up people drive less so they get less money.

I've been hearing a stat about the tax rate. I think it was no matter what the tax rate is, the government gets 18% of GDP, something along those lines anyway.
