germination on marshall ryegrass

I've planted a pasture in marshall ryegrass, always planted gulf annual before. 9 days in, very little germination of the ryegrass, rye is up great. 2 inches of rain, fertilizer and ph are right where they need to be. Is there a longer germination on marshall? I'm fairly concerned.

We palnted one pasture half in Marshall and half in Florlina. Took about 2 weeks or a little more to germinate. The Florlina was a day or two ahead of ther Marshall but now I can;t tell any difference in them.
