geo-textile fabric

Help Support CattleToday:

Construction Materials in Montgomery or Birmingham has it. Some call it filter fabric.
Filter fabric is felt based but some geo textiles are heaver and more like a woven plastic.
The felt type is not very expensive.
Let me know if you need a number.

What kinda store carries this fabric?

Denoginnizer, I also have a local supplier if need a contact.

I have the geo-textile fabric under my gravel pads around my water troughs.

We use it under roads and for building over wet spots in roads but, the only time I get a piece of it is what we have left over or someone else has left over from a job and it's usually not much. The only way we can get it around here is in a 12'x300' long roll and it is very pricy.

denoginnizer, I don't know how close you are to Willacoochee, Ga., but there is a plant there that makes shade cloth and things of that nature. They probably have what you're looking for. I've bought shade cloth from them a couple times. They'll make it any size you want and will ship it, but I've always picked it up. I can't remember the name of the place right now but will look it up if you're interested. Also, there's a similar plant in Pearson. It's called Cherokee Mftrng.
