Genoa alfalfa

I know this is kinda' area specific, but has anyone had any experience with this variety? we live in central KY.

What county you in? How far from Upton, KY which I think is in Hardin County? The reason I ask I can give you a name and number of the guy I buy seed and fertillizer from . He knows what varieties will work the best in our area. He runs the business and is a life long cattle farmer too. PM me if you would like the information.

I know Joey quite well and I have spoke with him about alfalfa, but they have a different parent company and they haven't got that companies offerings completely figured out yet. I am in Hardin Co.

Talk to Young David at Central Farmers Supply in Greensburg (270-932-5101). He is also very knowledgable and has helped me immensely getting my grown up farm straightened out. I actually bought my fert and seed from him this year as his guys weren't afraid to spread it for me. Surprise there are hills in Hart County. Joey's guy wouldn't try it.
