Explain this one.
Got a calf today out of a registered Hereford cow crossed with my Angus bull
There is not a white spot on the calf solid black what is the odds of that.
The cow's lineage is not in question as it was raised here and I know the breeding.
She has two full sisters in the pasture with baldie calves.
The cow is one of my older girls. Now I have had the bull knock dang near
all the white off of them but never all the way.

We had a Hereford cow like that too, she was one that we raised as well. Theoretically it means that the cow is carrying 1 gene for the hereford markings and 1 gene for solid.
