This is a bought heifer we knew was going to be early. The calf weighs about 80 lbs and was a convenience pull so we could carry on with chores. Will get a few photos of the barn to Bright Raven in a couple days. We can get 18 under roof if need be. Calving in April and May lessens the need for many to go through the barn.

I do a lot of convenience pulls as well.. and for the same reason! get it out, get them nursing, and continue on with my day with a clear conscience and not have to second guess myself later.
