What should I expect for the average daily weight gain of "angus-type" heifers? They are about 6 months old eating sweet feed and hay. :?:

Depends how much sweet feed you are feeding them. Anywhere from less that 1 lb/day to over 3 lbs/day.

on good pasture, ours gain about 2lb/day from birth to weaning.
