Fun Fact

I just put out two round bales and had a heck of a time peeling the net wrap off.
I’m an honest man and will admit that my wife had to help me zip up my new Carhhart coat. She wouldn’t let me take a picture, but she was right down there in my never mind.

Sometimes we all gotta just do. It is an occasional surprise to me, for my darlin companion to treat me like a small boy.
Really puts things into a different perspective.

Now! I will say, sometimes I have opportunity to treat her like a Queen, and I do. That works out well until she asks me to give her a foot massage. That never works out well and I’m pretty sure she knows it going in.

That's where my bale unroller really shines... I've got it out in front on the loader. If I get that wet rain/ice storm on my bales (stored outside in rows end to end), I simply put some pressure on that bale while driving forward... it breaks up the ice quite nicely, AND THEN I go take the netwrap off. I wouldn't trade this storage and feeding system for anything! I've contemplated putting a tarp over the row (like say a 10' x 50', and then just stake it down into the bale once below the curve...), but I don't want to have to deal with those tarps. But it could make for some really nice going... just pull that 50' tarp off (so 10 bales at a time), and put aside for the next season. But it's one more "cost", and one more thing to have to deal with, and I have very little spoilage as it is... so haven't gone there...................... YET! ;)

Pushing down on the bales while driving assumes there's something for them to push against. Put 48" of snowfall on the ground and the bale simply rolls along on a puffy cloud not breaking anything up, or simply plows along not rolling.

And having an unroller out front doesn't give you anything to dig gates out with, plow snow, push yourself backwards, etc.

My unroller fits front or back. Rare occasion it's out front.

Yup... that get's into that "context" question again! You've got some pretty special circumstances there @chevytaHOE5674, that most of us don't have to deal with. I like your "forwarder" idea, particularly if I lived where you do!!! (y) ;)
