Currently not frustrated, so I guess that was click bait. I have been in several frustrating situations on the farm over the last 8 or 10 days. Just rolled with it, and went on (not bragging). I think growing up on a farm, and farming my whole adult life has helped me handle bad situations. Most of my frustration has came from mechanical issues. So, I assume that being a mechanic would be frustrating. Having the right tools at hand would help though. I seem to never have what I need. What other career fields are frustrating?

I was offered a significant pay raise to start working on semis awhile back but turned it down for the fact that I think the frustration would have made me suicidal!

There's a loaded question. I have worked healthcare now for the last 13 years. Nothing I have encountered can be as frustrating as people. I worked plumbing and heating for 12 years before switching over to nursing. Boilers, furnaces and piping are all very logical. Easy to understand. People, not as much. Never a dull moment in my current career, but somedays, I question my own sanity for making the switch. The greatest obstacle seems to be realistic expectations. The science and procedural aspects are very enjoyable. The psychosocial and socio-economic aspects can be quite frustrating.

Well, you might go crazy in healthcare but your knees, back and hips will still work.

And if they don't, well you are in a position to invoke "Physician..heal thyself"

I've always found mechanical things to be relatively easy once I came to 3 conclusions.
1. Manufacturers do not go to extremes when they design or build something. They don't drill a bunch of extra holes, extra or un-needed oring or snap ring grooves, instal un-needed pieces..that's costs they don't want to incur..things generally go together only one way..in essence, you have to TRY to put it together wrong.
2. You can't make it work right if you don't know HOW it works. 'This acts on that, this pressure does this..this engages that...'
3. Once you know how it is supposed to work, learn WHY it works that way.
Easy sailing after that.

I would never ever want to be a gynecologist..

Fruit growing, pretty much everything about it! Now grow nursery plants, growing is fun, sales is just mental!!!!! How anyone working in sales doesn't end up punching half the customers in the nose is beyond me. Done truck driving, pretty much every car driver has no idea.....dont get me started on bike riders....think i need a lie down!

Being a single dad and cooking for two teenagers is one of the more frustrating jobs I've tried my hand at. One day I cook a massive time consuming meal that they swore up and down was their favorite the last time I made it and they take two bites and scrape the rest into the chicken bowl and other times I make something simple thinking I'm gonna have to pinch my boys nose to get him to even open his mouth for the first bite and by the time I start to dish myself a plate it's all gone and they're digging through the pantry looking for something else to eat.
My son is the pickiest eater I've ever encountered. He can't stand just about anything with mixed ingredients such as a casarole even if he likes every ingredient by itself(and he usually doesn't). So imagine my frustration when my girlfriend makes an entire meal full of mixed ingredients that he won't touch by themselves and the little jerk sits there and scarfs everything down like it's his last meal and goes back for more. So one week later I recreate this wonderful concoction and all of a sudden he hates it again. :bang:

You may have failed in your recreation.
I do a lot of the cooking here, and do find it is easy to make a good meal, but for whatever reason, it is much more difficult to recreate it exactly the same next time.
I keep hearing about these 'recipe' things but I never seem to grasp the principle.
