Frontier mower

I just bought a used 8’ Frontier disc mower. It’s in great shape. Anyone else familiar with Frontier? How do you like the brand?

I assume from lack of response, nobody ever hear of them.

All I know about them is they are somehow related to John Deere. Neighbours had a couple of their haybines (sicklebar) and like them fine.

I believe that the are made by Tarter and sold at Deere dealership. Their main line mower is a Kuhn.

I have heard of them also. The Deere dealer here sells that brand. Most of what they carry of that brand is smaller things.

I thought the Frontier equipment was made by anybody, and everybody. Some of the hay stuff was made by an outfit called Tonutti (Spelling).

That is what my local dealer told me. I looked at the frontier and liked them but ended up going with a Kuhn because I had one before and liked it. I plan on keeping it for a while and it was a heavier mower. Another reason is that the Kuhn is quick hitch ready and I thought I might try one some time but haven't yet.
