I heard on the news today that the govt was going to investigate DFA, because they said they showed a loss of $100,000 last year, and now are gouging the farmers in milk prices and those prices don't mesh with what the store prices are. Kind of interesting to see what they will find, the uncertain future of milking cows, always something it seems. Part of me hopes they get wacked with some fines or something, because its not right that with everything so high, that prices on hte farm are falling, plus that diesel surcharge we have to pay is ridiculus, been paying that for 2-3 years, I wonder where all that money goes? I wonder where alot of the things they deduct, where that money goes?

One thing is for sure.
If they get whacked with a bunch of fines the fines will be paid with dairy farmers money and dairy farmers will be paid even less..
The rogues responsible for the shenanigans will claim that everything was done in the best interest of their member owners....or at least a few of them.

Just great.... The government is now going to "help" the dairy farmers? They need to hang on tight to their wallets.

They aren't going to help us, just investigate DFA because of the price difference of milk still being so high in hte stores, and DFA reducing what we are getting paid on the farm. Personally I think the whole pay price formaulation needs to be shucked and we get paid what we deserve, not what some market in la la land decides.
