Fort Worth Stock Show

We took the grandson (18 months old) and the granddaughter (14 months old) to the Fort Worth Stock Show. It was great. They hit the petting zoo twice and we toured all the barns. Fine Brahman cattle were abundant as were Herfs, Chars, Red Brahm, Red Brangus, Brangus, Angus, SimBrah etc. The Brahmans were way thicker than I remember from previous years.

Anyway, it was cold but other than that, a wonderful time and recommended to take the grandkids. Glad we went.

Saw no MGs. We really wanted to look some over and none were there. Also kind of figured on someone taking the "grass fed" innitiative. Saw no such promotions.

I have not been in years. It always seems to get away from me. I spent a lot of time there when I was a kid.

I can remember when they actually had stock at the Stock Yards.

This was the first year I have went because Im out of school and not showing. My friends just got back today I miss it so much :cry2: ;-)
