Fort Knox

Me and the family made a trip to Hodgenville Ky. today and then drove by Fort Knox. Saw a lot of corn that didn't look too good and some cattle but not much. Looked pretty dry up there to. Never have been by Fort Knox, man that place looks pretty well secured!

When my son was in rotc a few years ago while in high school. He went to Fort Knox Summer camp every summer. There he got to shoot m-16's and do other assorted military stuff like repell with his ranger team and shoot m-16's with his rifle team. In fact he got expert marksman with it. I was proud of my boy for being both on the ranger team and rifle team and excelling at both. He had worlds of fun there. But yes it is very secure. At one time they had most of the worlds gold there but not anymore. It has since been moved to another location. I think somewhere in NYC.

Most of it is in an underground vault in Manhattan NY. Although there is still some mystery as to how much is at Fort Knox.
