I am going to say Beech. Not sure.Alan":lv8h087p said:Off subject but what kind of tree is that? Looks like a great tree for fire wood if it doesn't burn too fast.
Funny the guy that owned the tree was named Beech...skyhightree1":2dtjh154 said:agree. Beech is great firewood but you darn sure gotta let that stuff season a good year.
A beech tree and a chestnut tree were growing in the forest and loved to spend the day talking. After many years a sapling grew between them. The two old trees started arguing about the sapling. The beech tree said it was a beech and the chestnut argued it was a chestnut. The creatures of the forest were tired of the arguing back and forth when a large woodpecker stopped to rest in the sapling. The chestnut tree called out to the woodpecker asking if he would resolve the argument as to the species of the tree. The wood pecker hopped down from his branch onto the trunk and proceeded to start pecking. After a short while he looked up at the two old trees and announced; tis neither a beech or chestnut boys, it is in fact the finest piece of ash i had my pecker in for a long time.HDRider":3n3di6ob said:Funny the guy that owned the tree was named Beech...skyhightree1":3n3di6ob said:agree.
