Flying High

Wow....some very classy looking ladies there. Don't blame you one bit for wanting to show them off. They deserve to be "out front".

I wondered how long you would stay hid and not show them to us.  I have always been told that when someone sends you to a different website they are trying to sell you something. How much?

Ken
HaHa - I haven't even been "lurking" - computer has been a mess for months ("fixed" a few times & had to re-load lots - finally new computer - had to re-load LOTS!!!). Just got my Front Page (web site program) up & running, so my site has been out-dated. Now, (thanks to you) I realize I need to update my "Sale Cattle" page! Anyone really interested can check it out. I post a Sale flyer at our show stall at all the shows. Everything we own (cattle that is) is for sale. Just depends on how much I want to keep them in our herd.
Since the last time I've been active on this site, we've been to 3 fairs, an exhibition, 600 mile day trip picking up cattle, laid down 3000' of black plastic water line (water supply to our new land), weaned calves, blah blah - you get the picture. Putting my computer back together has NOT been on the priority list.
Had a 3 week break from shows, so I'm up & running! Head out next Tuesday to go to KILE (Keystone Int'l Livestk Show - Harrisburg, Pa.)

This is the first year we had any Grandmaster calves - 3 cows were bred to him. Had a set of hfr/bull twins. The heifer was so good, I was going to test her - but, after "close" examination, she was definately a freemartin. The other two are the two in our showstring, so that kind of lets you know how well we like them. I plan on using the bull next year for our 3 week "cleanup" - if we still own him.

Dang ! I had you looking & I screwed up the link. Sorry. It's fixed now.
Yes, those were the ones in the barn, except for Whoopi, she was outside with another fall heifer calf. We added Whoopi for NYSF (and also a yearling, bull (edited -not bull - FULL) sib to the cow, so we had 7 head at NYSF). We will be taking the 6 head to KILE. The Feb hfr calf, Xalena will be in the Pa Fall Classic Sale in Waynesburg.

I never get tired of looking at your cattle Jeanne.

I have a heifer this year that is a black gelb that reminds me of some of your type girls. She gets shown on Saturday so we'll see how she goes. She's pretty different to the others in the breed really...

Aussie - thanks a bunch - get a pic & post it when you can. I'll try to check back more often.
Redcows - Thanks - with the computer so messed up & our busy show schedule - just wasn't able to get on here. Hopefully, I'll be more of a "regular".
Ken -  "ain't" going to happen! Besides, I'm flying to Florida in Nov to visit my mom. When my Ken retires, we might head down there again. As you know - that's a LONG trip!!! and I hate to go that far to get my butt whipped
