Did anyone else go to that sale? What did you think? I bought lot #40 he is an Angus bull called New Day his sire was Boyd New Day does anybody have any info on him?

Info on your bull or Boyd New Day? You can go the the Angus site (below) and paste in the bull's registration number and get his pedigree, if that's what you're wanting. Boyd New Day 8005 is a well known and widely used AI sire from GENEX.

Was there a good crowd? Was wanting to go but I'm already bull heavy I was curious about the Gelbvieh bulls.

The Nebraska end of the bulls are HARD keepers. They have the blood but are pretty pampered.

There was not as many people there as I had expected. The bottom bull went for 1700 most were 1900 to 2300. I will have to get my catolog to see exactly what everything brought.

We have two Boyd New Day cows. Growthy, but not too framey. Tremendous udders. Good milkers and great dispositions.

I'm glad to hear they are good milkers that is one reason I bought this bull he was a plus 20 on milk, which aint the best out there but a hellva lot better than what I've got. All I've got to do now is wait till next February to see what he throws.
