Not long ago there was a post about million candle light flash lights. I have been looking and can't find it. We had a yote visit at 4am, can't shoot him if I don't know where the cows are. Any help is appreciated.

Don't buy a light that is expressed in CandlePower alone. Candle power is only a measurement of the light immediately in front of the bulb. Light can be focused at distances.
"Lightforce" makes a handheld light that has an adjustable focus point. They are expensive.
What you want is to buy a light that gives you the amount of light needed at the distance of the object you are illuminating.
