First Waco, now Eldorado

What a mess. What a heartbreaking mess. Three hundred plus kids are gonna need therapeutic foster care, and some of these kids have kids of their own. Finding foster care for a teenaged mother with a child, or 2, is challenging, at best, impossible at worst. Talk about sad situations...

What's gonna be so hard to work with here is that the little girls are raised to believe it is their mission in life to provide babies and be totally subservient, even if it means being abused. I understand that many of them go back to these communes, or whatever they are, once they are legally of age to do so, because they've been so strongly indoctrinated.

As far as this Jeffs character is concerned...I think he's a freakin' pervert that invokes God's name and cherry picks scripture and doctrine in an attempt to make his perversion acceptable. :mad:

Absolute truth Alice from start to finish. As I said, the looked like robots getting on those buses. All dressed alike, hair fixed exactly the same, all brow beaten looking. Course I'm sure they were scared to death. Any nut that preaches this as a religious lifestyle is insane to begin with.

The only reason these types of groups claim to be some sort of religion is to give them the privacy under the law to practice the perverse lifestyle they choose. The law in this country needs to root out every group like this and any other group that exploits women and children and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

What burns me up is that he's been doing this for years. We are so scared from Waco that we won't do anything about it. I can't imagine the whole polygamy thing anyway, nor how women submit to it. Still, there is a great difference between a grown woman permitting this to happen to her and having it happen to some child.

The whole thing was started by a call from "A" 16 year old girl, saying she was being abused. According to last night's news, the authorities do not know if they have "THAT" girl in custody. They have no idea who "THAT" girl is. They have no idea where the original call came from, or who made it. Of course, I'm sure that's the way it would be handled in any small Texas town. One complaint from an unknown person, and they take the whole town into custody. Probably, as soon as they get all the women and children out, leaving only the male population, it will be time to torch it. That's the way we do it in Texas.

The state and federal law enforcers are way out of bounds (AGAIN). They apparently needed a reason to invade, and the anonymous call was it. Who knows what they are actually looking for? What would be wrong with quietly working on finding out who that girl was? And, who it was that was supposedly molesting her?

Yep, here in Texas, we had Waco. We have the TTC. Now we have El Dorado. We will always be able to find new and different ways to embarrass ourselves. Ain't life grand??
