First Edition Heifer

Remember how "fond" LA4angus was about his Hoff's First Edition bull? Well, a couple of years ago, I bought a straw to breed one cow with who never came into heat at the breeders, so the straw was used to breed a big, knotty, baldy cow of ours, with the result being the below heifer. Unfortunately, LA4 left us before she calved, so he never got to see what his bull could do on a commercial cow........I thought maybe I'd share the pic of her at two 1/2 months hoping LA4 would have been pleased with the results.....

How much Brahman was in the cows mamma? Seems to have more ear than the traditional 3/8 Brahman x with an angus would produce.

The cow appears to be a Brangus X cow. No hesitation to put that calf on an okie order or one that calls for a panhandle cross (1/4 Brahman or less). A good calf.
