Well here are some of my first AI calves. Extremely excited. All three are F1 Bulls.
They are out of Hereford Bull Loewen C&L 33N Apollo A42.
The first two came out of my Angus cows.
The cool thing is that I got to watch the little red one be born out of a Baldie cow. The pic for him is from the next morning so he was only about 12 hours old.
The scary thing is that one of the cows stepped on one of the little bull (i heard a loud snap) but all are up and running around today with no issues and full of spunk.
A true blessing to be involved in this as my dad got to see the results of the AI work and learning the process.

I'm raising my first ET bull this year, and have 2 more full sibs due next year. I'm in a very similar situation to you, as my dad and I have never done ET, so we got to learn the process together. He is tickled pink by the number of visitors we have that comment on the quality of our ET bull when they are here for other things.
