Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. It's always nice to go on a tour like that and see how folks in other parts of the country do things. Whenever we go visit my in-laws in South Dakota I'm always taking pictures on their farm and asking questions since it's so much different there from what I'm used to.

Nice spread! Our cattle wouldn't mind shade shelters like you have, I actually even have the material (10 acres worth of ginseng cloth), but they do quite alright without it. If it's cold in the winter I'll let them go into a gulley, but down to 0F or so they don't need shelter either.

Those trailers to haul the people around in... do you have those just for tours? or did the extension agents provide them?

The green one belongs to our local extension, the other one is actually a hay wagon that we added steps on the back for duel use, the seats on that one are hay bales but it works really well.
