Wish you had more of our sunshine and we had more of your rain. Glad that it is producing so much, have to admit that I am envious.

CB : I noticed on the thread about where you are located. You indicated Tyler County. My Aunt lived and died at Colsmniel. I may not have spelled it right. I still have some cousins around there. One in Paticular is Johnny Pittman. By any chance do you know him.

We have had temps in the high 90's here with a lot of humidity this summer. In my area we've seen about 1" of rain in the past 10 weeks. Finally the skies opened up early Sunday morning and it has rained the past 3 days throughout the evening and early morning. Then the sun comes out and heats us up again. We may have a chance at a decent third cutting yet. We only got 6 round bales out of 20 acres on the second cutting.

I am still on the first cutting for some places. It has been too wet.

I am going to have 400 surplus rolls at this point and some fields are ready for a second cutting.

I know of some Pittman's up there, and you got close on the spelling its Colmesneil. I live about 10 miles SW of Colmesneil as the crow flies.
