I am so glad to see that the days are getting a bit cooler. I like to see the cattle out mid day grazing. I see no horseflies that drive them crazy. I could spray their backs wet with different fly solutions, and as soon as it dried, the horseflies were back on em.' The cows look more contented now.
It is 90* today, but it won't be here long. It was 45* the other night. I wore a short sleeve shirt to work and no coat since it was nice then. I should have watched the weather before I left because a cold front came through.

its low 90s here during that day, and that IS cool. i am not looking forward to this winter though.

Enjoy the summer weather....we had our first frost last week but today was wonderful....high of 47 at this rate we'll need to put in the tank heaters before November. Still have left over summer chores to get done before the ground freezes.

It's been cooler here in south Texas too. Last few weeks we've been in the triple digits as far up as 111! Last couple of days it's just been in the mid-to upper 90's.

Did get a little shower at the place yesterday, but only enough to settle the dust. Today looks more promising though.

I'm looking forward to cooler temps but I don't like extreme cold any more than I like the extreme heat.

Upper 90's for weeks here.. and for some reason seems hotter than usual, and seems like summer has gone on forever! I actually like the hot weather, much better than SNOW, but I'm even tired of it. Supposed to get a cold front, and PLEASE get some rain also on Thursday.

its been raining here all day off an on. way to go Big Tam.
its cold as crap though. got my longsleeve tshirt on.

MilkMaid probably has similar weather to Wisconsin. It's been raining here the last 1 1/2 days, then dropped to the 30's over night. We're expecting our first snow tonight, but it won't be that much.

I woke up at 3:30 PM and the ceiling clock said 74.* I thought, "Now that is going to feel nice." Walked outside and the wind is blowing about 15 mph out of the North, and shorts were no longer an option. I bet the temps will be pretty chilly tonight. I think I'll carry my coat.

Woke up this morning to a crisp north wind. Actually had a bit of a bite to it - sure is nice. I'm looking forward to the cooler weather.

I was looking forward to it too, until it got here. 40 degrees and a 30 mph wind over this ridge and it's way past being just cooler. As much as I wanted it I guess I just wasn;t really ready for fall yet.
