Hey guys new to the forum and love it so far. I have a couple questions I am hoping have not already been answered or I'm not repeating another thread but here goes nothing.

Is there an online calculator or an equation to figure out what different grinding rations will give you on the crude protein and energy. Like as an example I'm looking for something that if mixed 1/3 corn, 1/3 soy bean hulls, and 1/3 something else what my ration will be. I know this is a very broad question or maybe you guys have some insight for me. I'm aware different small grains have different bushel weights cp amounts and Mcal for each grain just curious if there was a calculator or formula I could use to plug and play different options and have a good idea of what my cp should be. I realize cp is not necessarily the most portant thing but I'm using it as an example.

Thanks for your time and any input or info thanks!!

This link will open an excel file.(click save to save it to your computer so you can use it all the time) it is kinda hard to use at first but study the charts and the rations and i found it helpful. I sent a mix to Auburn to have it tested for protien, energy, ect. and this speadsheet was almost spot on as par as protien and energy to my test results from Auburn.

Just a question here but why do you 2 beginners not have your location listed ? Do you not plan on sticking around? The location will help others assist you in some questions you may ask in the future. :2cents:

That's what I use as a free program, but if this is your first time you might want to talk to a actually nutritionist to check it, because you might be over/under loading something and not know it.
