Does anyone know if feeding 1/3 cracked corn,1/3 ddg,1/3 soy hulls is a decent feed to use for unweaned and weaned calves

It would depend some on the roughage being fed. You would need to monitor the amount fed by the rate of gain so you don't just fatten them.

I've fed it off and on for years. Had good results.

Should be ok as long as you don't overfeed. Got good protein level, good energy and quite a bit of fiber from the hulls. Add a little grazing and/or hay and they should do well.

Thanks I figured to feed them hay also while they are being weaned.

Yes. I did this past year. Started them on feed when they was old enough and still nursing. Then weaned then and never changes the ratiin. I was curious if anyone else had did it or should a change the ratiin up a little.
