Decision pending on meat from cloned animals

The federal government is nearing a decision to allow the sale of meat and milk from cloned cows and their offspring. The FDA is expected to take a major step toward that approval by proposing to permit the sales, which would then be subject to 60 days of public comment. Following the FDA's final decision, livestock producers will need four years or more to raise offspring ready for slaughter. The ruling will encompass cloning of goats and sheep as well as cows

Another dumb A$$ idea from the government! What part of THOUSANDS OF $$ doesn't the government understand that it costs to clone an animal...

Always thought it was cheaper to let the bull make the calves...but, I'm not a politician and don't know anything... 8)
