None.

I have to admit Matthew, although your enthusiasum for the breed is refreshing, this is the third time you have asked this question since you registered.

Quite frankly, it is getting a little tireing. Please move on.

Of this list I'd say p606, 10H, or 100L would be a toss-up. None of the above is my favorite.

Okay who is?

I have a hard time picking just one. Let's just say that I have a top twenty list, or something like that.

On that list, in my heart of hearts, JTJ Buckshot 7B, and D Rupert Tone 641 are very near the top. 7B is now deceased after a 15 year useful life. These bulls are on the list not because they had impressive EPDs. They were not out of TPR herds, and weren't marketed AI. They are on the list because I have seen for myself what their progeny has done, and I've seen many a big name bull that looked scrubby compared to them.

Of well known sires, among those on the list are 517, any given Ochs Bros. sire, Timber 65H, Farley 24F, Braxton Giant 1, OXH Mark Domino 8020, the Huth bull they call "Tank," Keynote 20X, Online 122L, among others. I like what I've heard of Carlson's New Idea. Vindicator has impressed me since I first heard of him. Jim Reed himself said he was one of the bargains of his catalog, and a sire to save daughters from.
I also really like the KCF Bennett bulls, one of which they said ratioed high for marbling even among their Angus bulls.

From your list, I like RF Positive Plus 73C the best. I like him because of his CED, CEM, his .86 accuracy for BW, M and M&G EPD's. I'd have to agree with Greenwillow on Feltons 517, LLL Farley 24F, and Online 122L.

There seems to be a lot of people liking to talk about bulls sired by Feltons 517. I agree with the old saying, "The water is coolest when it's dipped closest to the spring." Feltons 517 influence is best when bred to Feltons 517. The same goes for LLL Timber 65H. He's a Farley son, so breed to Farley. The 020 cow that's Timber's dam is an excellent DOD, but I think Farley does the trick on his own.

Just my 2 cents.
