Favorite 45-70load?

Been looking at a number 1 ruger in a 45-70 and was wondering what cast bullet and power works for you?
 
I used a 400 Gr. cast bullet from a rcbs mold, the powder was imr. 3031 and irm.4198.
 
The Ruger #1 will handle the higher chamber pressures (approx. 40,000 lbs.) but it's still hard to get more than 2000 fps out of a 45-70. These loads should not be shot in the "Trapdoors" and other Springfields.

Thank all of you for the information. I've been casting some 340 and 455 gr flat point bullets and it looks like the 340's are the most accurate. I haven't had the time to really tweek the loads yet but it looks like 14gr of Unique might work and the 455's have a potential for the mule effect.
