Thank you to all for the wishes. It was a beautiful, if too warm day for mid Sept.... hit 97 on my recording thermometer. But sunshiney nice. My son is in Ga to compete in the SE regional DOT Roadeo... in the tandem dump truck. Our Staunton district won overall points and several first and second places in Late July in Richmond, Va. Firsts in; Single axle, tandem, backhoe, 2nd in lowboy. I was a proud mom. Couldn't go to Ga because we can't both be gone for days with all the animals. Sides, he's with all the "guys" who work for the various DOT headquarters..... so I hope he is enjoying it. So, nothing special except I tried to enjoy the day and not have to test cows or rush. Tomorrow am going out to lunch with a neighbor/friend and we will go do some shopping, just a nice day out.
