Farmall M

What kind of oil are you using in a farmall M. Everyone I talk to has a different answer. ND COLD WEATHER)

I don't have a farmall M , but I use Shell Rotella in all my tractors and trucks gas or deisel for years, If I had an M that's what I'd be using.

I forgot to mention I use 15-40 Weight

I have a Farmall Super M - I just use Penzoil 30 W, but I live in Texas. I would assume that any good brand of oil would work. I also know never assume anything!

If memory serves me right the Farmall M is a gas motor. Rotella is really designed for diesel engines. Probably won't hurt it but I would just run a good 30 weight motor oil designed for gasoline engines.

So do I. In my opinion, it's one of the best, and will be fine for that old "M"

I use rotella in my diesels but from what people tell me about m's ranges from 10w30 nondetergent to 10w30 detergent, winter oil.
