Family

My sister left her hubby and children to cope on their own for a week and came to visit me. The weather was absolutely foul so we stayed indoors most of the time. We chatted, laughed, cried, reminisced, cooked, watched movies, painted, you name it. It's great to have such a special sis :heart: .

Its so good to have family that is close like that.. to be cherished for sure. I know the feeling.

I know I cry every time I find out my big sis is coming to town. We laugh some to but it's mostly at each others failures. :lol:

That's terrible. I have a cousin that I feel the same way about :shock:

Speaking of cousins, I had one that is dead now, that I could say a lot of bad about I guess. But one night when several people had threatened to do bad things to me my cousin found out about it.
He was already at the meeting place when I got there. He had a pistol in one back pocket and a black jack in the other. He said he was not going to let all of them jump me at once. Only one of the others had showed up and he was wanting to get gone before I got there. My cousin wouldn't let him leave until I got there to have a "conversation" with him.

Anyway, every time I think about my cousin I remember that and still appreciate it.
I hadn't seen him in years but when I found out he was in the hospital I went to see him. I think he really appreciated my coming. He died a few days after I was there.
Sure glad I went to see him.
