Eye Candy

He's A club calf he's got it for show that's what i want to have I don't know how it is in AL but that's what wins here in IL.

Looks like he's majority Maine, with a little Chi thrown in. If you look him up in the Chi association
it should give you his percentage. If you're into show cattle he might make good ones
but if you're into making decent cattle that graze and grow or females that can raise
a calf you may be in trouble. His number one problem as far as I'm concerned is he's
a TH carrier. If you're only looking to raise show steers that's not much of a problem
but if you want to keep females then you'll be testing each one. Have heard he's
made some good show calves, when bred to the right cow.

He is out of Naughty Pine (Heat Wave son) and a pure Galloway cow. If you are breeding for cows I would look elsewhere.

If you what steers and heifers you need to look at clean bulls, with cleaner linage.

Look into My Turn for a new bull, or Dr. Who for a proven bull.
Scratch My Turn he is not clean, my bad. Dirty Hairy is clean, calving ease and a Main.

Dirty Hairy is out of Ali (Pure Main) and GEF Naughty Business (She is out of Strictly Business and GEF Miss Impact) All in the AMAA

So if there is any Chi it is way back and very low percentage

You could use Ali2 if you are not apposed to clones

You might look at Guyer Cattle they are north of you I think, I know the people that are working with him now. Kevin is a good guy who could give you some ideas on who to breed your cows to.

As a side note: Try and not post BS post like the herd bull post you did. If you want to be taken seriously you can't do cr@p like that.

In Alabama he would die of heat stroke! What ever happened to practical? If I were judging livestock I would be looking for the most functional cattle, not which ones could be fattened up the most or grow the most hair.

You live in the REAL world not the show world. I still haven't found a market for bone & hair.

Actuly there is a market for bone and hair
The bones are made into exsplosives and jello
the hair is used for clothing in china and is made into string. :cowboy:
