Not bad at all. I just have an affinity for the greys. The last red I worked with was a big male. He and I spent many an hour together and I thought we were buddies until the cast came off. Then he chewed me up good. I guess he knew he was well and didn't need me anymore.
 
:shock: If one of ours would do that it would have to be put down. I don't know if its a state law or just the centers rule, but if a rabies vector bites someone it can't be released.

I think we may have hijacked this post. :lol:
 
The outcome for him wasn't good either cause his head had to be mailed to a lab for rabies check and I had to sit on pins and needles waiting for the results.

Hoping Bob would check back in and tell us how it went. Poor woman is probably in a wheelchair by now with a neck brace and having to go to counselling for the trauma. But if Bob would just get off that check book she'd be free from the pain. :lol2:

Well the woman called one more time, but again I let the call go into voice mail. This time she said that she had hit a black bull and that after hitting him he had jumped back into the pasture. I do have a 2000# Angus bull that is easily seen from the road, standing behind 5 strands of barbed wire. I went out again to check him, he was jumping a cow without a dent on him.

I called the deputy that investigated the accident and told him that this lady kept calling and leaving messages. He called the lady, then called me back and said he did not think she would be calling me again. His accident report would say "deer". I asked him if the lady was injured, he said no, broken headlight and a little damage to her grill.

When I was a boy in the early 60's there wasn't a deer within 60 miles. The State Game & Fish Commission brought 'um here and turned 'um loose. The dollar damage they have done to cotton, beans, corn, fences, and autos is enormous.

Same here. I remember a good deer season was when you saw one maybe two deer. Now its more like which one do I shoot.

Sounds like she is running an insurance scam. Bet the deputy told her much the same. I had a nut job trying to sue me once for mental anguish caused by something similar. Thankfully none of the attorneys would take her case but each warned me of her visits. There are some crazy people out there.

I do believe that if she hit a 2000 or so pound bull, she would more than a "little" damage to her grill. Just go ahead and send her a check.......

I was going to say... if she'd hit your bull, she'd not be calling you, unless they have cell phones in the hereafter. She certainly would not have been able to drive away from it. I knew a lady who hit a horse once. She had a moon roof on her car. Took her head clean off.
