I always like when people share pics so I thought I would contribute. First one is my wheat field, poor year for my wheat.


Second is my haygrazer field, temps went down to 33degrees. Hope it didn't set it back or kill too much.

jrn nice pics... We couldnt even get into the fields to plant wheat so my year for wheat is very poor ;-)
 
Thanks Skyhigh, hey what's the best method of killing bindweed in a wheat field. A local farmer told me to just switch over to a summer crop for a few years, and cultivate deep.

I have been told about the cultivating deep for a year or 2. Luckily I do not have a huge problem with it thankfully . I switch crops as much as I can and raise mostly soybeans lil corn and lil wheat but maybe with all the roundup we have been spraying for years and its pretty tame i think controlling and spraying in the fall really helps controlling those weeds for the next year. I took over my grandfathers operation doing row crops so I don't know as much as others but my foreman said there is alot of good programs to help control bindweed.
 
Had some more random pics and didn't want to start a new post. The first is my place I lease out to a local farmer. Last year he did milo this year was sunflower. It was a cloudy day so the flowers look down, but when the suns out it amazing how they follow it.
This is a test plot of a different sudangrass I forget the name. I hate when people tell me a certain seed can out perform mine so I have to try it out. I know it's all a weather game but having great seed helps also.
