Ethanol/Bio-deisel

Help Support CattleToday:

Used the ehtonal blend crap for a while. It was cheaper to buy but the MPG were a lot lower and ended up being more expensive per mile. Don;t recall the numbers but it made me swear off the stuff.

I use both. E-10 and E-85 never noticed any problems with either. In the warmer months I use B-20 in the tractors I run B-100 in the semi's. No problems unless it turns cold.

I've used B85 and B100 in one of my tractors. Only trouble I had was it plugged the filters up. It was OK - I'd been warned about that so I was expecting it and was preparred.

Only drawback was it made me hungry. Smelled like french fries all the time.

we're just starting to get bio deisel at the pump around here, have'nt seen any ethanol blends unless their not telling us.Coarse the bio-deisel is .02cent more than deisel and I thought it was suppose to be cheaper.I figure it would be cheaper seen's these companies are using it in their own trucks.
