Epps Biting fly trap

I recently read article about the Epps Biting fly trap (www.horselineproducts.com). The article was singing the praises of how well it works. Has anyone used it or know of anyone who has. All the testimonials on the web site are from Horse people, I'd love to have something that would control the flys on 20 acres of cattle pasture but am rather skeptical.

No, I've never used the Epps Fly Trap, nor do I know anyone who has. I have, however, used Captivator fly traps with great success - roughly 4" of dead flies every other day. Other things you can do to keep your fly infestation down is to not use hay feeders, keep the hay cleaned out of your pens, possibly consider adding fly predators to your list, and do everything possible to keep the pens dry. Flies love moist/wet hay to breed in.
