It snowed and stuck Christmas 04, Good Friday 05 December 11 08 December 4, 09 and Now Jan 7,10.

I want to know when this global warming is coming back I am wired for 100 degs not the teens.

I am about wore out toting firewood, the Mrs. can flat burn some wood as she doesn't like central heat.
I ran the idea by of putting in the fake logs with propane fire that went over like a turd in a well.

CB, then you'd have to pay for the gas. You don't want to do that. Besides all that firewood toting will help keep you young...

I tried the same idea and came up with the same results. (laughin) although i knew what her answer to LP fireplace would be.

I am not about to ask the boss lady about gas and fake logs. She'd be all over the idea.

Central air dries the house out so bad I can't breath. That wood stove in the LR is all I burn in the house. It has a pot of water on it all the time.

I was told one time the ground was so froze that the hogs had to double up just to root.
But I think they were just makin bacon. :lol:

CB I just cut a batch of firewood yesterday and going to cut more today.
But with the loading forks on the front and a hydrolic log spliter on the back of the TD 95 it aint so bad.
At least the heater works.

I have seen it colder. Some years back I came in the house after chores. I was pulling the coveralls off and out rolled two round spheres that looked as if they were made from glass. They thawed and went "poot".

CB...check into wood pellet stoves...we have one and love it...goes a great job of warming as well.

you guys dont want to depend on the centreal heat unless you have to.we decided not to burn the heater much this year.an boy that was a misstake in my eyes.got our 1st bill with the heat on it an it was $315.now mind you our house is like 3000 sq feet.when we burn wood.we can get the temp up to 81 or 82 in the livingroom.
